the whole “I can’t believe CHINA is telling AMERICA to act on climate change!” narrative in western media is tiring considering we are second in world’s biggest polluters and our current administration wants to obstruct what we’ve already started doing to combat climate change. like of fucking course other major contributors of CO2 will urge america to take action. not to mention other countries in question have ALREADY been progressing as far as reducing fossil fuel consumption and innovating alternative energy, while we’ve hit roadblocks because the fossil fuel industry has bought out congress.
want to know who benefits from this narrative? climate change deniers like our current head of the EPA, scott pruitt.
this is not a ~progressive~ way to approach global action against climate change.
