out of curiosity

what do you learn in Sunday school?

Bible verses, bible stories toned down for kids, song renditions of those same watered down stories (look up Zacchaeus Was a Wee Little Man), arts and crafts (lots of colouring pages), and, in my case, how to start trouble and con your group leaders into signing declarations handing over control of the class to you (my hard won authority was not respected).

When you think about it, Ezra “My Parents Are Gone” Bridger is probably the least messed-up member of the Ghost crew…you’ve got Kanan “My Culture Was Massacred and I’m Marked For Death” Jarrus, Hera “My Planet Was Subjugated and Enslaved and All My Friends Are Dead” Syndulla, and Zeb “My Whole Species Was Hunted to Near-Extinction” Orrelios. We still don’t know exactly how far Sabine’s dark past extends, but all things considered…

Seventh Sister: hello?

Kanan: I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a ransom, I can tell you I don’t have credits. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over some time as a jedi, and as a rebel. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my son go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

You know nightblogging and how it’s funny because people’s brains do weird things when they’re tired. I think it should be used as a verb to denote an action taken while under the influence of lack of sleep.

Like, oops, nightblogged. May have just cut off all the hair I’d been growing out for five years.

Because I just did that and everyone else is asleep and now I’m sitting here in the darkness with a severed foot long braid, a significantly lighter head, a note to my Mom for the morning, and the address of Locks of Love. On that note since writing this is pretty useless maybe it is another example of the new definition of nightblogging.
