who works with stone in a surprising way, managing to give it a soft
and organic look. Like optical illusions, the sculptures of the artist
seem to distort the marble and granite with an incredible ease. Source:ufunk

Human Brain a Mashup of ā€˜Male’ and ā€˜Female’ Features

There is no such thing as a ā€œmale brainā€ or a ā€œfemale brain,ā€ new research finds.
Instead, men and women’s brains are an unpredictable mishmash of malelike and femalelike features, the study concludes. Even in brain regions previously thought to show differences based on sex, variability is more common than consistency.

I hope I’m not cherrypicking science here, but I see a lot of articles that seem to proclaim that brains are either distinct or entirely indistinct between genders. So it’s nice to see something that doesn’t directly refute what I’ve read about prenatal hormonal levels, and generally speaking just ignore the existence of trans people.

I’m not a neuroscientist, but I feel like if you want to get anywhere with research on this kind of thing, you’ll have to account for trans people. I may not like the truth, but I do exist.

I don’t think you are cherry picking. This most recent finding agrees with what you are saying as I understand it, and the research being described here is the most comprehensive assault on this question to yet be published. While some of what went before needs to be considered, a comprehensive, current study needs to be given the weight it deserves.
