idk yall, i’m generally a positive person when it comes to politics but today I just can’t stop crying
even if all our highest hopes come true and he-who-must-not-be-named-today-cause-it’s-election-day doesn’t win, some 40% of our population thought it was okay to support a sexist, homophobic, racist, pro-dictatorship candidate
Even if he doesn’t win, his supporters have already gathered strength and are already threatening people
Even if he doesn’t win, everybody I know that is part of any minority is already scared to death of just walking down the street again
Even if he doesn’t win, some relationships will never – could never – be the same
and I just can’t stop crying.
