By all means check the independent websites above if you like, but the buck stops with your state’s Secretary of State.
This is your monthly reminder that the Supreme Court has cleared states to purge voter rolls of infrequent voters, an act that disproportionately affects communities of color and other marginalized groups. Please check your voter registration again, even if you have already done so, even if you think you’re fine. Check that you’re registered, and that your information is correct, to make sure you’ll be able to vote in November! You frequently have to register significantly in advance of the election in question.
(By the way: under 18? If you are, but you’ll be 18 on or before Election Day, you can pre-register to vote in a lot of states! That way you’ll be all set up and ready to go when November rolls around, and you don’t have to worry about missing deadlines.)
