I’m doing a sleep study and the weird creepy after-hours clinic full of colorful characters feels *exactly* like the cold open to a Doctor Who episode
One of the other guys was making small talk about the waivers they have us sign and said, “Just standard boilerplate stuff? You die in your sleep it’s your own fault?” and then he guffawed.
That is classic foreshadowing and I’m very concerned. How do I make sure that I’m the protagonist here?
“We have to keep the rooms this cold because otherwise the paste will melt into your hair and give us bad readings” says the tech nervously.
Is that really the reason? Really? I think we all know it’s aliens.
