I forgot all about this. It’s a poem about knights, I think by Sir Philip Sidney. It’s spelled out with a Knight’s Tour, one of many patterns a knight can follow to land on every square of a chess board just once, before returning to its starting place. The first letter of the poem is A, and Knight to King’s Bishop 3 gives T as the second letter.
